A Day in the Sugar Bush
Are you a true Canadian? Do you put maple syrup on EVERYTHING because you just can’t get enough. Than this is the experience for you. This is our Maple Syrup Experience that will have sweetened right up. You will spend time learning about tree biology, forest management, different soils and how to properly cut/split wood. You will run lines, boil, filter and bottle your very own maple syrup. This is a great way to get a behind the scenes peek at how we produce maple syrup on a large scale. Come prepared for the weather, to have lots of fun and be ready to enjoy some off the most unique tasting syrup. Cost of the experience is $85.00 CAD and lunch is included. This is going to be one sappy experience. This is a great Christmas or Birthday gift for that maple syrup lover!
Our farm has the most stunning views and we want to share them with YOU. This is the perfect spot to get back to nature, refresh your mind and rejuvenate your soul. We promise you will have the trails all to yourself to spend quality time with your loved ones. We offer about 8 kilometers of trails around the farm that are clearly marked for your convenience. Our trails are open all year long so you can smell the fresh flowers, enjoy the fall colours and snowshoe in the winter. Invite the whole family and take in the freshest air there is. Dogs are welcome too as long as you keep them on their leash. Don’t forget your camera!
Private/ Group Tours
Are you looking for an activity that will make you the BEST aunt, dad or activities director ever? Or do you need to get away from the city for the day? Then you need to head out to the farm to experience nature with your family or 30 of your closest friends/colleagues! We welcome everyone of all ages. Whether it is Grandma’s Knitting Club, Girl Guides, Boy Scouts or little Timmy with his mom and dad, we have a spot for you. We will guide you around the farm teaching you about where your food comes from. We will educate you on the history of the farm, the different uses of our barns, introduce you to our animals, taste test our products & depending on the time of year, see inside of a live beehive. Group Tour & Lunch
Looking for the perfect afternoon out with your pals? Then you have come to the right place. We specialize in making YOU look like the hero. Your group will thank you for weeks after for introducing them to Dare2Dream Farm. We will educate the group on the history of the farm, the different uses of our barns, introduce you to our animals, taste test our products & depending on the time of year you can see inside of a live beehive. After all the fun I am sure you will be hungry. We have teamed up with Krumbs Breadery & Stuff to provide you a delicious box lunch. You will enjoy a fresh sandwich on homemade buns/bread, salad, fruit from in season, a sweet treat and a bottle of water. We will set you up in our beautiful barn for you and your group to enjoy privately. For different options and cost details, email us! A Day With A Beekeeper
Do you have a love for honey and always pondered the idea of how it’s made? This 4 hour experience is just for YOU. You will be so close to the bees you can feel the buzz from within. You will be spend time suited up and working inside active, live bee hives. Expect to see thousands of honey bees and taste raw honey right from the hive! You will be performing the tasks that a commercial beekeeper does EVERYDAY. We will show you how to extract honey and then make some very unique products with it. Cost of experience is $85.00 CAD. Lunch is included.
Live Beehive Opening
Interested in saving the bees? You need to visit the farm from May to September, on Saturdays & Sundays at 1:00pm to see the bees in action. Our beekeeper of 8 years will educate you on all the coolest facts about bees. You will be so close to these sweet creatures that you can feel the vibration from their buzzing. Oh, you are afraid of bees? Not a problem, we have a secured, screened in porch for you and the family to view this live demonstration. This is a great opportunity for you and your family to do something completely unique yet totally educational. A few things you will learn are, how the colonies make their queen, who lays the eggs and who does all the work. There is a great deal to know about bees, so get to the farm and we will share all our knowledge with YOU!
